in-cosmetics Asia returns to Bangkok in November

in-cosmetics Asia, an APAC event for personal care ingredients, has opened registration. The event will be held at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) from 1-3 November 2022.

The trade show has stated that more than 400 exhibitors and 9,000 visitors are anticipated to attend the show.

Widely recognised for its personal care and cosmetics market, the APAC region accounts for 36% of the global market. To spotlight this, in-cosmetics Asia aims to provide a platform to connect the regional and global personal care community with comprehensive business and networking opportunities.

Expecting new exhibitors

The show is expecting several new exhibitors from the tech sector, including a biotech start-up, a bio-venture company, a Malaysian sustainable palm oil supplier, a personal care and fragrance range, and an Indian manufacturer of plant-based extracts and natural ingredients.

As new companies are registering their attendance, the show’s Innovation Zone will display most new ingredients and formulas in the market.

Sponsored by Mibelle Biochemistry, the Innovation Zone will feature dedicated areas for active and functional ingredients. Additionally, it will facilitate sourcing opportunities for attendees.

This year’s Spotlight On, a dedicated product display, will focus on three developing sectors: Fragrance, Healthy Skin and Makeup.

At this display, visitors will see a range of formulated ingredients relating to these popular product categories.

Developing a content schedule

As professionals including R&D specialists, formulators, chemists, marketers, and indie brand owners are expected to attend, a content schedule catering to these sectors has been announced.

The Marketing Trends & Regulations programme will define industry trends for professionals from across the new product development process. Confirmed topics include:

  • The evolution of anti-ageing
  • Conquering beauty e-commerce: innovation and reinvention
  • Disrupting the Beauty Landscape – the role of Gen Z and Millennials
  • Beauty from within: Nootropics and Nutricosmetics.

Attendees will also hear directly from ingredient suppliers during a series of Technical Seminars about new product formulations.

The popular Formulation Lab will also return, providing opportunities for formulators and R&D specialists to learn about new ingredients and formulation techniques. A session held by the lab will focus on solid cosmetics and waterless formulations.

The Asia industry report

In-cosmetics Asia have announced that show attendees who pre-register for this year’s event will receive an exclusive in-cosmetics Asia 21-page industry report.

The ‘Changing Face of the APAC Cosmetics Industry’ report explores the impact of the pandemic on the APAC personal care and cosmetics market. It covers how the pandemic has spurred local growth, the sectors celebrating a revival in popularity and the next chapter of product trends.
