The upcoming UFI European Conference in Maastricht will be collaborating with Women in Exhibitions (WIE) to honour women’s accomplishments in the exhibition industry.
The Conference’s keynote speaker on 15 June will be Ann Daniels, a polar explorer and motivational speaker, who will share her story and leadership lessons with UFI’s delegates.
As an explorer, Daniels has broken records and is one of the few women in the world to reach the North and South Poles as part of an all-female team.
In her keynote, Daniels’ achievements will explore the power of perseverance, teamwork, and a clear vision with delegates – essential skills in the fast-paced and ever-changing exhibition industry.
Daniels will additionally pull from her experience with NASA, The European Space Agency, and other global scientific agencies.
The Conference will host six speakers, of whom Daniels will be one of the three female speakers. Joining Daniels will be Martha Donato, president of MAD Event Management, and Monica Lee-Müller, managing director of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The UFI European Conference in Maastricht will take place from 14-16 June 2023.
