Immerse LDN celebrates £1m tickets sold

Immerse LDN located at Excel’s new-look waterfront is continuing to establish itself as the UK’s premier immersive entertainment destination after reaching the landmark milestone of one million tickets sold.

The journey to one million tickets began with standout productions in Jurassic World: The Exhibition (2022) and Disney100: The Exhibition (2023), with Jurassic World alone selling 315,000 tickets – making it one of the highest attended Jurassic World exhibitions in Europe – as well as becoming Excel’s longest ever in-hall event at 137 days. Today, the venue hosts fan-favourites including The FRIENDSTM Experience: The One In London and The Formula 1® Exhibition, with Immerse LDN’s blend of beloved IPs, original productions, and exceptional hospitality becoming a new benchmark for immersive entertainment in the UK.

Building on its success, Immerse LDN is poised for continued growth with two major attractions debuting this spring.

Tutankhamun: The Immersive Exhibition opens in March, featuring an eight-metre-high immersive video mapping room, a 360-degree VR experience, and the world premiere of a holographic mummification process. Already a global phenomenon, the exhibition has drawn over 1.8m visitors across 12 cities.

In May, Immerse LDN will host the highly anticipated global debut of Elvis Evolution, an immersive tribute to the King of Rock ’n’ Roll. Combining state-of-the-art technology and AI, this multi-sensory experience promises to bring Elvis Presley’s music and legacy to life like never before.

Damian Norman, director of Immersive Entertainment & Events at Excel London, said: “Selling one million tickets so quickly highlights the universal appeal of immersive entertainment sector and the quality of our partners to create such popular attractions. Whilst milestones are important, 2025 will represent the full opening of Immerse LDN as we open three more experiences in the coming months.”

James Cassidy, president of FKP Scorpio Entertainment LTD and the team behind the likes of Jurassic World and Formula 1, added: “From Jurassic World to Tutankhamun, we’ve collaborated closely with the Immerse LDN team to make Excel London a destination for world-class immersive exhibitions. With our fourth production now underway, we’re already looking ahead to the next million tickets.”

Stretching a kilometre along Excel London’s waterfront, Immerse LDN has redefined the cultural landscape of the Royal Docks.

Part of Excel’s £300m regeneration programme, the venue is set to attract more than 2.5m visitors annually, contributing to the area’s vibrancy and economic growth.
