Bulk wine exhibition set to begin in Amsterdam, as tariff challenges persist

The 17th edition of the World Bulk Wine Exhibition (WBWE) will take place on 24-25 November 2025 at RAI Amsterdam. Organised by Vinexposium, the show remains a leading international event for the bulk wine and spirits sector.

Last year’s trade show attracted nearly 2,000 visitors from 70 countries and 245 exhibitors. For the first time  exhibitors will come from Mauritius, Lebanon and Panama, lining up with bulk-producing nations like Spain, France, Italy, South Africa, Chile and Australia.

“The bulk wine market is a strategic lever for the industry. With the World Bulk Wine Exhibition, Vinexposium has broadened the event’s scope and strengthened its impact, creating a meeting point where buyers and producers find practical solutions and shape the sector’s future together,” said Rodolphe Lameyse, CEO of Vinexposium.

This year’s show highlights include a ‘Silent Tasting Room’, the WBWE Academy of masterclasses on logistics, dealcoholisation and sustainable packaging, and the International Bulk Wine Competition.

Now in its 17th year, WBWE continues to support the expansion of the bulk wine and spirits market. Bulk wine accounts for around one-third of global wine trade by volume. Its growth is being driven by sustainability goals, alternative packaging formats, and the rise of low- and no-alcohol and ready-to-drink products.

In an environment of rising costs and environmental pressure, bulk wine is gaining attention as a cost-efficient and sustainable solution for producers and international buyers alike.
