RX Global’s Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) 2026 will reflect the full scale and ambition of modern aviation when it runs at Hamburg Messe, 14-16 April. This year’s 479 exhibitors represent a cross-section of the industry and will showcases the international reach of the aircraft interiors sector.
Around 12,000 visitors are expected, with Europe accounting for 45% of attendees and 19% coming from the Americas and 17% from APAC.
Over 1,300 products will be showcased over the three days, with seating, cabin fittings, and electrical being the most popular categories.
Organisers say there will be 75 new exhibitors on the show floor, bringing fresh ideas and technologies into the ecosystem. A new BizJet Zone will feature 24 leading BizAv market companies,
The Lufthansa Group stands out as the most represented airline group, with participation spanning multiple subsidiaries including Eurowings, SWISS, Condor, Austrian Airlines, and Brussels Airlines.
From the United States, the ‘Big Three’ carriers, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines, will collectively send over a hundred individual attendees.
Yet AIX is not only defined by scale. Airlines such as Drukair (the national airline of Bhutan, with a population of 800,000) and Air Greenland will both have a presence at the show – a reminder that innovation in aircraft interiors spans the entire aviation landscape, from major global fleets to smaller, highly specialised operators.
As AIX marks its 25th edition, the event is also recognising the exhibitors who have grown alongside it. More than 12 companies have exhibited for over two decades, including CELSO. Company president, Agnès Timbre, said: “AIX has been, and continues to be, a key driver of CELSO’s growth in the aerospace sector. We’ve really grown up together. I still remember that first ‘intimate’ edition in Cannes. It was small, almost like a family gathering, but we immediately felt it was something special and said, ‘We have to be there.’ Today it’s become the meeting point for the aircraft interiors community.”
Archana Dharni, event director of Aircraft Interiors Expo, said: “A dynamic mix of long-standing industry mainstays and bold new entrants, this year’s show reflects where aviation interiors stand today – an ecosystem in motion, constantly renewing itself.”
This year’s show follows the Passenger Experience Conference (PEC) on 13 April, which will provide sessions on cabin innovation, design, and passenger-centric trends.
