Bangkok opens two new stations to deal with crowd IMPACT at Muang Thong Thani

Two new train stations have been opened in the Bangkok northern suburb of Muang Thong Thani to accommodate anticipated crowds surging at the THAIFEX ANUGA ASIA 2025 food and beverage show. The exhibition opens at the IMPACT venue there at the end of May.

The 3km Pink Line extension from Si Rat Station, that includes IMPACT Challenger Station (MT01) and Muang Thong Lake Station (MT02), is slated to be complete in time for the show, with the renovation of the Challenger hall 1 lobby area and a new sky entrance.

The Thai business events industry is booming, along with tourism, according to the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB).  A key player in the industry, the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center – the largest venue in South East Asia – brings in revenues consistently and offers more than 310,000sqm of multi-purpose space.

The venue is 45 minutes from Suvarnabhumi Airport and 15 minutes from Don Mueang International Airport.
