Provider of accommodation management solutions for the global events industry bnetwork, has announced the acquisition of Hotel Management International Europe (HMI Europe), a specialist in accommodation management and venue sourcing based in Switzerland. The company is the European arm of HMI Canada. Following this acquisition, the entity will operate under the name bnetwork Switzerland.
This move supports bnetwork’s ongoing growth strategy and bnetwork Switzerland will commercialise the full range of services previously offered by HMI Europe, as well as the entire portfolio of bnetwork solutions, providing Swiss organisations with direct access to a more comprehensive set of tailored accommodation and event services.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2025, bnetwork now supports over 150 events annually, generating around 1.5 million overnight stays through a network of 2,400 hotel partners and teams based in major European cities.
Among the major events and clients supported by bnetwork are Informa, RX Global, MWC Barcelona and Festival de Cannes. The company also works across a diverse range of event types, including international trade shows, congresses, corporate meetings and sporting events.
HMI Canada is also celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, supporting over 500 programmes annually worldwide with its venue finding and event management expertise.
