UK Leeds-based Equinox Group used the FESPA Global Print Expo in Berlin, 6-9 May, as a platform to announce an investment first in sustainable print innovation. The exhibition design and builders claim to be the first company to invest in Fujifilm’s Acuity Triton, a next-generation wide-format printer powered by AQUAFUZE water-based UV ink.
Unveiled at FESPA 2025, the Acuity Triton marks a significant advancement in sustainable print technology, combining high-quality output with a lighter environmental footprint. Equinox says its move reflects a deeper intent to integrate sustainability into every stage of creative production. “We’ve made it our mission to lead with both creativity and responsibility,” said Carl Criscione, managing director of Equinox Group. “The Acuity Triton supports that mission perfectly. It’s an investment in performance, in our planet, and in a partnership we’re incredibly proud of.”
The Acuity Triton is the first of its kind to combine UV LED curing with water-based print technology. It reduces energy consumption, eliminates the need for primers or topcoats, and delivers print clarity with a significantly lower environmental impact.
