With world premieres in training technology, new equipment launches, and a detailed conference programme now confirmed, the 10th edition of GIS – Europe’s largest show as Europe’s largest event for the lifting, access, and heavy transport industries – is set for a record-breaking return to Piacenza, Italy, 25-27 September. Organisers Mediapoint & Exhibitions say the final exhibitor count now stands at over 490 brands across a 100,000sqm footprint.
Mediapoint & Exhibitions director, Fabio Potestà. Said: “Beyond the record scale, the quality and innovation being brought to the show floor are exceptional. GIS will be the definitive meeting point for the European industry this year.”
Show highlights include:
3Bmust International unveiling its advanced virtual reality (VR) crane simulator and Milan-based BREVA making its market debut, showcasing a range of highly customisable heavy-duty semi-trailers for the construction and quarrying sectors, including power-tank models and concrete mixers.
Settima will present its latest hydraulic and electro-hydraulic systems and the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) will launch a new global safety campaign focused on the importance of reporting accidents and near-misses through its portal.
Alongside the exhibition, a comprehensive schedule of conferences and seminars will address the industry’s most pressing issues and the show will also celebrate industry excellence with a full schedule of awards ceremonies.
“With just days to go, it’s clear that GIS is more than an exhibition; it is a complete platform for the industry,” Potestà concluded. “We have the technology on the show floor, the critical knowledge in the conferences, and the celebration of excellence with the awards. Ultimately, it is the place for the industry community to connect, do business, and shape the future. We look forward to welcoming everyone to Piacenza.”
