dmg events and Messe München will launch IFAT Saudi Arabia in 2026. The event will run from 26-28 January at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center.
The global trade fair for water, waste and environmental technologies will be co-located with dmg’s existing Global Water Expo. The partnership aims to create a powerful platform aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
GWE launched in 2023 and quickly became a key meeting point for water infrastructure leaders. IFAT, with editions in Germany, China, India and more, brings decades of international experience in environmental tech.
Saudi Arabia’s waste management market is valued at $6bn and growing 7.8% annually. The Kingdom has also earmarked $80bn for water and sanitation projects.
“GWE and IFAT is another example of dmg events supporting transformative growth in Saudi Arabia,” said Geoff Dickinson, CEO of dmg events.
Messe München’s co-CEOs, Stefan Rummel and Dr Reinhard Pfeiffer, called dmg “the ideal launch partner” and said IFAT would “contribute to the Kingdom’s MICE and economic transformation.”
The two companies will bring together policymakers, suppliers and innovators to serve a booming sector. The deal also strengthens Saudi Arabia’s position as a regional hub for global trade exhibitions.
