in-cosmetics Global 2025 welcomes record international audience in Amsterdam

in-cosmetics Global 2025 ran from 8-10 April at RAI Amsterdam – and recorded its most international edition to date.

One significant change in the 2025 event was that international visitors made up 84% of the audience (a 16% year-on-year increase).

The three-day event attracted 10,879 unique visitors and over 21,000 total entries. The show featured over 1,000 exhibitors and a record 211 new ingredients showcased in the Innovation Zone.

in-cosmetics Global is one of the world’s biggest trade shows for personal care ingredients. The event was launched in 1990, and brings together cosmetic chemists and brands to explore innovations in skincare, haircare and fragrance. It rotates between major European cities each year.

US brands looking at EU regulations as benchmark

The show debuted a new Testing and Regulation Forum, run in partnership with Skinobs. A ten-session programme focused on cross-border compliance, anti-pollution technologies and the evolving regulatory landscape.

In a panel discussion, Bustos Law Group’s Heather Bustos noted that “many brands in the US are looking to EU practices and their well-established regulations as models.” POTION INC. founder Sanjana Balani added that India had become “a pioneer in banning animal testing.”
