Leading Nordic trade show organiser Elmia is increasing the cycle of international forestry fair Elmia Wood from every four years to every two. SkogsElmia, the nationally-focused sibling event, will be paused as part of the initiative.
The reason for the change is reported to be increased interest from exhibitors for 2025 compared with 2022. New features are being introduced in the 2025 edition, including:
- An improved fair loop (approximately 3.5km long) with a more compact exhibition area and shortcuts for an even better experience
- Increased focus on machine demonstrations and innovations
- A brand-new arborist area
The change is possible via a new land agreement at Bratteborgs Gård, the event’s location, that extends until 2029. Upcoming fair dates are 5-7 June 2025, 20-22 May 2027 and 7-9 June 2029.
