Swiss-based temporary and permanent event structure and services provider NUSSLI has expanded its global reach, opening a new office in Belgrade ahead of Expo 2027 in the Serbian capital.
The Expo will be the first world exposition to be held in the former Yugoslavia and follows the Osaka World Expo 2025. The Belgrade edition will be classified as a ‘Specialised world exhibition’ and will run 15 May-15 August, 2027, under the motto ‘Play for Humanity – Sport and Music for All’. ‘Specialised expos’ occur in the interval between major World Expos and last a maximum of three months, and are smaller in scale (limited to 25 hectares).
NUSSLI said it is creating an operational base in Belgrade from which it can provide support to customers, partners, and participants along the entire value chain – from conceptual planning and project management to the realisation of sophisticated country pavilions and experience spaces.
Stefan Sekiguchi, COO special projects at NUSSLI, explained: “Expo 2027 in Belgrade offers unique opportunities to present creative ideas and technological in-novations to a global audience. With our office, we are already on site during the preparatory phase and ready to turn big visions into reality together with our local partners and international teams.”
NUSSLI, headquartered in Hüttwilen (TG) has a strong presence in key core markets such as Germany, Austria, Spain, and Czechia. In addition, NUSSLI has its own companies in North and Central America as well as in the Middle East and implements projects worldwide.
