RX will launch MIPIM Middle East in Riyadh on 20–21 October 2026. The event will take place at the Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh, bringing global real-estate investors together with policymakers and project owners from across the region.
MIPIM Middle East will run alongside RX’s established portfolio. The flagship MIPIM event in Cannes attracts more than 20,000 delegates from around 100 countries.
MIPIM Asia in Hong Kong also brings global investors to regional development projects, supported by a network that represents over $4tn in deployable capital.
Recent editions have drawn senior political figures. Delegates have included UN Secretary Generals, presidents, prime ministers and city mayors.
RX says the new event responds to rapid growth in regional development. Middle East delegations at MIPIM have expanded in recent years, with Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Oman, Qatar and the UAE showcasing large-scale real-estate and infrastructure schemes. Riyadh was selected due to its rising profile as a hub for investment, innovation and built-environment projects.
Many projects in the region have been funded mainly through local capital. Now, MIPIM Middle East aims to attract more foreign direct investment. RX says the event will support sustainable urban development as more global capital enters the market.
The programme will include keynote sessions, closed-door forums and talks on regional issues. Topics will cover sustainable development, urban investment, sport-led development and the impact of AI.
RX managing director for the Middle East and emerging markets, Vasyl Zhygalo, said: “Building on our flagship MIPIM in Cannes and MIPIM Asia in Hong Kong, MIPIM Middle East supports our ambition for the brand to become a year-round, global platform for the real estate community.”
MIPIM director Nicolas Boffi said: “By bringing MIPIM to the Middle East, we’re connecting global capital and expertise to one of the fastest growing development regions in the world. We have been incredibly impressed by the opportunities presented by our GCC partners at recent MIPIMs.”
He added: “Our ambition is for MIPIM Middle East to be a strategic platform that will deliver lasting benefits to Saudi Arabia and the wider region by directly supporting these transformative plans.”
