UFI appoints new research coordinator

UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, has announced the appointment of Raya Al Taher (pictured) as research coordinator. She will work alongside research manager Christian Druart and his team to conduct analyses and reports that support UFI’s strategic insights for the industry.

Al Taher will also contribute to UFI flagship research projects, including the Global Exhibition Barometer, the Global Exhibitors and Visitors insights and the World Map of Venues, and she will also provide technical support internally when needed, to collect, validate, and interpret data.

Al Taher holds a PhD in digital marketing and brings a strong data-driven background, with expertise in market research, survey design, and quantitative and qualitative analysis to support strategic decision-making, with experience managing international events across both non-profit and for-profit sectors and teaching marketing.

“Data-driven analysis helps industry leaders make smarter decisions and stay connected to the trends that matter most,” she said. “I’m excited to support the growth of the global exhibition industry by turning data into meaningful insights.”

Adeline Vancauwelaert, UFI COO, added: “We are thrilled to welcome Raya Al Taher. Research is one of UFI’s key pillars, and having her on the team will help us continue to provide informed decision-making to our members and the wider global exhibition community.”
