The 17th edition of the World Bulk Wine Exhibition (WBWE) will undo the corks on innovation and trends in the sector, 24 and 25 November at RAI Amsterdam. Organised by Vinexposium, WBWE is the world’s leading gathering for the bulk wine and spirits’ sector.
Last year’s trade show attracted nearly 2,000 visitors from 70 countries and 245 exhibitors. For the first time exhibitors will come from Mauritius, Lebanon and Panama , lining up with bulk-producing nations including Spain, France, Italy, South Africa, Chile and Australia. “The bulk wine market is a strategic lever for the industry. With the World Bulk Wine Exhibition, Vinexposium has broadened the event’s scope and strengthened its impact, creating a meeting point where buyers and producers find practical solutions and shape the sector’s future together,” said Rodolphe Lameyse, CEO of Vinexposium.
This year’s show highlights include a ‘Silent Tasting Room’, the WBWE Academy of masterclasses on logistics, dealcoholisation and sustainable packaging, and the International Bulk Wine Competition.
For over 15 years, WBWE has supported the growth of the bulk wine and spirits market. Bulk wine now represents around one-third of global wine trade by volume. In the face of economic and environmental challenges, bulk stands out as a sustainable and competitive solution, embraced both by major international buyers and by premium brands. Its growth is accelerating, driven by sustainability imperatives, the diversification of formats, the rise of no/low-alcohol and ready-to-drink (RTD) products, as well as growing demand for cost-efficient solutions.
