Belfast’s SSE Arena and Ticketmaster celebrate 25-Year partnership with renewal agreement

Belfast’s The SSE Arena, (cap. 11,000) has announced the renewal of its partnership with Ticketmaster, celebrating 25 years of working together.

The Arena has been Northern Ireland’s go-to venue for live entertainment since its grand opening in 2000.

As one of the UK and Ireland’s first arenas to go completely 100% digital, The SSE Arena has adopted cutting-edge technology, including utilising Ticketmaster’s SafeTix.

These features ensure secure, contactless entry through NFC passes via Apple and Google Wallet, and also support the Arena’s commitment to a fully sustainable future.

Beyond ticketing, the Arena has also recently announced it is now eliminating single-use plastic cups, underlining its commitment to sustainability and innovation.
