US-based global strategy consultant Stax has appointed Witold Czartoryski as managing director in its London office, where he will lead the firm’s EMEA-focused tech-enabled business services and consumer verticals.
Czartoryski brings nearly 20 years of experience in private equity consulting, specialising in commercial due diligence, value creation and strategy. His career includes senior roles at OC&C strategy consultants, BCG’s private equity practice, and Strategy&, advising major private equity funds. An Oxford graduate in Engineering and Computing Science, he combines technical expertise with a commercial approach to investment strategies.
Paul Edwards, global practice leader at Stax, welcomed the appointment, noting Czartoryski’s deep experience in advising global brands and investors in tech-enabled services and consumer markets. “His knowledge will be highly valuable to our clients navigating investment and expansion opportunities in these sectors,” Edwards said.
Czartoryski highlighted the growing role of AI and advanced analytics in consulting and private equity decision-making. “Stax’s model is focused on measurable outcomes and real impact, rather than traditional time-based consulting. AI and data-driven insights are shaping the future of investment strategies, and I’m excited to be part of a firm that prioritizes these tools,” he said.
Phil Dunne, UK managing director at Stax, noted that Czartoryski was highly recommended by a client. “His expertise in AI-enabled business services aligns with our focus on providing precise, data-backed recommendations to clients.”
Stax has been expanding its presence in the UK and EMEA markets, and this appointment strengthens its ability to support private equity firms and corporate investors in these regions.
Czartoryski’s appointment comes after a new trio of MDs were announced in late January – Will Barden, Darren Buskirk and Athul Ravunniarath.
