Saija Syväjärvi (pictured), Master of Hospitality Management (UAS), has been appointed service and production director and member of the management team at Finland’s Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre. She will start in her new position on 1 April, 2026.
Syväjärvi has extensive leadership experience in service businesses in the real estate and hospitality sectors and joins Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre from Sato-Asunnot Oy. She also previously held leadership positions at Lapland Hotels Oy, Sokotel Oy and HOK-Elanto.
As service and production director at the venue, she will be responsible for technical services, construction services, event services, and graphic services.
