UFI, The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, has welcomed Expo Guadalajara as its newest Diamond Sponsor and its first from Latin America.
Expo Guadalajara is the largest venue in Mexico and across Central & South America. As part of the multi-year agreement UFI Diamond Sponsorship Agreement, it will gain year-round visibility across UFI’s global events and activities.
Elena Hurtado, managing director of Expo Guadalajara, said: “UFI’s mission to support and advance the exhibition industry aligns closely with Expo Guadalajara’s long-term vision.
“Becoming a Diamond Sponsor is a strategic step in our internationalisation efforts, focused on strengthening global partnerships with industry leaders as part of our 2050 strategy.”
Panittha Buri, UFI president, said the Diamond Sponsorship strengthened the existing long-standing collaboration with Expo Guadalajara, including the venue being host for the 94th UFI Global Congress, which will take place in 2027.
“We look forward to working closely together, alongside our members across Central & South America and North America, and our Regional Directors Ana Maria Arango and Martha Donato, on a range of initiatives to support the continued growth and development of this important region,” Buri said.
UFI Diamond Sponsor is the highest tier of UFI sponsorship available.
