UK-based exhibitor and sponsorship management platform FFAIR has expanded its Recommended Supplier Programme with the appointment of Air Business as its first event logistics partner. The company says the move broadens the range of event services available through its FFAIR Shop.
Air Business – a wholly owned subsidiary of An Post, the Irish Post Office – has worked with Informa, Mark Allen Group, News UK, Thomson Reuters and Cannes Lions, providing event logistics.
From Wi-Fi and furniture to digital signage, AV, sponsorship and now full-service logistics, the range of suppliers available through the FFAIR platform is expanding and the company says integrating logistics into the same checkout journey means a significantly greater proportion of exhibitor orders can be placed through an organiser’s approved suppliers in one single transaction.
Paul Brady, head of strategic partnerships at Air Business, said: “We are delighted to join the FFAIR Recommended Supplier Programme as its first logistics partner. Event organisers are under increasing pressure to deliver efficiency, transparency and sustainability across their operations. Being integrated into the FFAIR Shop allows us to support organisers and exhibitors earlier in the planning cycle, while simplifying the freight and handling process through a trusted, centralised platform.”
Adam Jones, CEO at FFAIR, added: “Air Business is known for its exceptional quality and service, making them the perfect partner for our first logistics integration… With Air Business onboard, organisers can drive more exhibitor orders through preferred suppliers in one seamless transaction, creating a better onsite experience and retaining more value within the ecosystem.”
FFAIR claims to be the only supplier-agnostic marketplace platform that enables organisers to onboard their own preferred suppliers or select from the FFAIR Recommended Supplier Programme.
