Revenue reaches all-time high for The Finnish Fair Corporation

Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre and The Finnish Fair Corporation have reported a strong year in 2025, with revenues rising 3.6% to pass €60m for the first time. The centre’s visitor numbers exceeded one million, growing 13.7% compared to the previous year.

“Our growth strategy was successfully implemented in 2025. We strengthened the appeal of our events and created even better conditions for our customers to succeed. At the same time, we continued to invest decisively in the future of Messukeskus. Solar and our other development projects will reinforce Helsinki’s position as an international event city for years to come,” said Veronica Lindholm, CEO of The Finnish Fair Corporation.

The Annual Report 2025, published 23 April, notes the Finnish Fair Corporation organised 40 trade fairs and 400 other events in 2025, including meetings, congresses and special events.

The year was strong for congresses. Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre hosted 10 international congresses, bringing more than 28,600 delegates to the Finnish capital.

In 2025, a €20m-plus investment decision was made to construct Solar, the future event space of Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre. Construction of Solar began in March 2026, and the doors will open in autumn 2027.

The new project follows the activation of the 5,000‑seat Messukeskus Arena grandstand in autumn 2025.
