Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week (BBFW) 2026 posted another record attendance and delivered the biggest international edition to date, according to organisers Fira de Barcelona, with 87% of exhibitors and 81% of visitors coming from outside Spain.
The event reinforced itself as a leading global platform for the bridal, evening, and red carpet fashion industries. The 2026 edition attracted nearly 23,500 visitors from 107 countries.
Italy, the UK, the United States, and Brazil accounted for the highest number of visitors and organisers hailed a positive response from the Asian market with more buyers and professionals from China, South Korea and Japan.
The trade show featured nearly 420 exhibiting brands from 37 countries.
Albasarí Caro, director of BBFW, noted: “This edition confirms the maturity and global reach the show has achieved, both due to the record-breaking internationally, as well as the quality of the buyers and the interest generated among the brands.”
The BBFW runway showcased the collections of 34 designers, presenting a wide-ranging take on the trends that will define the 2027 season.
One of the most iconic moments was the Barcelona Bridal Night event, which celebrated its tenth edition this year with French designer Stéphane Rolland as the headliner. The gala brought together more than a thousand guests.
The next edition of Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week will take place 14-18, April 2027 at the Montjuïc venue.
