Hyve enters Legal SuperVertical with acquisition of LegalTechTalk

Global exhibition organieser Hyve has announced it has acquired LegalTechTalk, Europe’s leading event for legal technology and transformation, with US expansion on the horizon.

AI is transforming the legal profession, technology is reshaping how legal services are delivered, how businesses operate and how leaders connect. LegalTechTalk has established itself as a hub for that transformation, building a premium meeting place for the people driving change across the industry.

“We’re excited to enter this new SuperVertical through acquiring the market-leading event… LegalTechTalk has become the trusted partner to the sector’s leading companies and this has been achieved through a relentless focus on customer outcomes and community building,” said Hyve CEO Mark Shashoua.

The acquisition marks Hyve’s 8th since 2024 and its first under Ascend30, the Group’s new value creation plan steering its next phase of growth and evolution. The legal market is worth over $470bn and forecast to grow at 8-10% CAGR through to 2030.

LegalTechTalk brings together senior decision-makers from organisations such as Google, Airbnb, Revolut, Adidas, DLA Piper and Freshfields, alongside the technology companies shaping the future of the industry.

The event was founded by entrepreneurs Bradley Collins and Mikkel Jensen in 2024. In its third year, the 2026 event this June attracted 5,500+ attendees from over 70 countries – 62% of whom were C-suite or senior decision-makers — alongside 450+ speakers. The founders will continue to lead the business.

The acquisition also strengthens LegalTechTalk’s international ambitions. Following the recent announcement of its expansion into the US, Hyve’s global ventures launch team, led by Katy Fryatt, will support the launch of its inaugural American event in Miami Beach, during December 2027.

“When we launched LegalTechTalk, we always believed the opportunity extended far beyond Europe,” said Bradley Collins, co-founder and CEO, LegalTechTalk.

“Our USA launch is an exciting next step, and Hyve’s proven track record of successfully taking premium event brands into new international markets made them the right partner for us. We’re excited to build on the momentum we’ve created and accelerate LegalTechTalk’s global growth together.”

Hyve will support the next phase of LegalTechTalk’s growth by investing behind its already market-leading position. Initial priorities include formalising an at-scale hosted meetings programme and introducing new product formats, including TableTalks.

The next editions of LegalTechTalk will take place, 16-17 June 2027 in London and 13-15 December 2027 in Miami.
