The Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) and Al Ain Convention Centre, part of the ADNEC Group, report they are set to organise and host a record number of major strategic events in the coming months. The total number of events that will be hosted at the ADNEC centres during the next four months of the year are expected to exceed the pre-pandemic period by more than 30%.
The exhibitor, visitors, and expert line up at these events is expected to be boosted by at least 40% over to the pre-pandemic era levels of attendance.
Many of these events are coming to Abu Dhabi and the Middle East for the first time.
Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, managing director and CEO of ADNEC Group, said: “The record number of events that ADNEC Group’s centres will host in the upcoming months, surpassing the rates before the pandemic, are one of the key indicators of our accomplishments.”

In September, ADNEC will host three events and a graduation ceremony for students. The 20th edition of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX), the largest exhibition of its kind in the Middle East and Africa, organised by the Emirates Falconers Club, will take place 2-8 September.
ADNEC will also host AM Conclave Middle East 2023 on 13 and 14 September, a global platform for discussing the applications of 3D printing technologies.
On 20 September, a new cohort of students from Rabdan Academy will graduate, while the Maissane Design in Abu Dhabi 2023 will also launch, hosting a range of artists, designers jewellers, furniture makers and more over three days.
October will commence with the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC 2023), 2-5 October. The mega event is considered the largest and most influential energy conference globally.
Simultaneously with ADIPEC, the 2023 Manufacturing & Industrialisation Conference 2023 will take place at ADNEC, and 10-13 October, ADNEC will host the International Congress on Archives 2023. The venue will host the Auto Moto Show 2023, the largest specialised exhibition in the region for the automotive and modified motorcycles sector, 19-22 October. And, 25-27 October, ADNEC will host the Global Information Technology Challenge 2023.
There will be a series of educational, intellectual, and employment-related events before the end of the year, including Najah Education and Training 2023, which will take place over three days from 29 to 31 October. The exhibition serves as a platform for recruiting students from higher education institutions in the UAE.
On 31 October, the IAPH World Ports Conference 2023 will commence for three days and November will include a range of commercial, sports, media, and knowledge-related events. The International Jewellery and Watch Show 2023 will be held 1-5 November.
The Abu Dhabi Sports and Fitness Expo 2023 takes place 4-5 November at ADNEC and the venue will host the fifth edition of the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show 2023 in partnership with Abu Dhabi Maritime, 9-12 November.
The School and Nursery Show 2023 will be held on 11 and 12 November and from 12 to 15 November, both the GCC CIGRE International Conference and Exhibition for Electrical Equipment and Tawdheef Recruitment Show 2023 will take place at ADNEC.
ADNEC Group will organise the second edition of the Global Media Congress 2023 in collaboration with the Emirates News Agency (WAM) from 14 to 16 November.
The 8th CyberSciTech 2023 conference by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers will be held 14-17 November and, from 17 November, the 11th Emirates International Orthopedic Conference will take place over three days.
Between 19 and 21 November, the Federation of Afro-Asian Insurers & Reinsurers Conference 2023 will be held in Abu Dhabi and 20-22 November will see the 4th edition of ViV MEA 2023 and the Horti Agri Next 2023 exhibition take place, serving as a comprehensive platform for agricultural and animal production specialists, suppliers, and buyers.
The WorldSkills Asia 2023 event will be held 27-29 November. It will contribute to raising awareness about the importance of excellence and high-quality vocational education, training, and youth development in Asian economies.
Simultaneously, the second edition of the Abu Dhabi International Food Exhibition (ADIFE 2023), in co-operation with the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority, will take place.
The 9th edition of the Abu Dhabi Date Palm Exhibition (ADDPE) 2023 will also be held in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority, presenting an opportunity for exhibitors to showcase their products and enhance their presence in the global date trade market.
ADNEC will conclude this year by organising and hosting events, including the Super Angels Summit 2023, which will take place on 15 and 16 December. This summit is one of the most prominent global gatherings for start-ups, bringing together entrepreneurs, business leaders, and investors.
Meanwhile, the Al Ain Convention Centre will host the Consumer Autumn Exhibition 2023 from 25 August to 7 October.
The Greenex 2023 exhibition will be held from 19 to 22 October and the Sijaya Bridal Exhibition in Al Ain will kick off on 27 October and continue for four days.
