Beijing’s Auto Maintenance and Repair Expo 2026 delivers roadmap for innovation

The 74th edition of Auto Maintenance and Repair Expo (AMR) closed in Beijing at the Capital International Exhibition & Convention Center (CIECC) on 15 April 2026, having delivered a three-day programme and platform combining trade, information exchange, industry services and talent development.

Organisers tracked 49,634 visits from 68 countries and regions (a 19% increase) and 1,385 exhibitors (20% up). The show covered 80,000sqm of exhibition space and staged 49 fringe programme events.

Hosted in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei (Jing-jin-ji) region and one of China’s six automotive manufacturing hubs, AMR has had deep roots in the area’s aftermarket for over four decades. This edition of AMR converged the latest products and solutions from sectors like Diagnostics & Repair, Body & Paint, Car Wash & Care, Tyres & Wheels, Parts & Components and more.

Exhibitor Nexion China vice-president, Jacky Li remarked: “AMR has been an important platform for Nexion in China. This year we welcomed many professional visitors, including emerging technicians, students from various vocational education institutes, and gained direct feedback on our products from end-users to support product upgrades and improvements.”

Ironstamp displayed products for NEV chassis and thermal management systems. Xiangke Kong, domestic business director, said: “We presented our pipeline products for EVs to many overseas visitors, and AMR allowed us to efficiently convert conversations to orders. The exhibition is an excellent platform to understand global aftermarket trends, allowing us to assess product competitiveness and build international distribution channels, supporting global expansion and market growth.”

This year AMR expanded two special zones to bring forward the latest developments. Among these, the AMR Training Workshop Zone addressed emerging topics in the transition to intelligent technologies, electrification and digitalisation through product demos.

NEOLIX, a leading company in autonomous logistics solutions, brought its X3 and X6 series autonomous delivery vehicles and related solutions, as well as its “last-mile” delivery service designed for deliveries from automotive parts outlets to repair centres. Jianjie Zhu, the company’s industry sales director, commented: “AMR provided an ideal platform for us to showcase our inter-city smart logistics solutions for delivering parts to automotive maintenance and repair companies. During the show, we engaged with domestic clients from Hebei, Shanxi and Tianjin, as well as Germany and the Netherlands.”

AMR’s flagship event, the Automotive Aftermarket Conference held its eighth instalment on 12 April, bringing together specialists and senior executives from leading companies to explore topics like AI-driven innovation and opportunities in emerging markets, helping companies identify new paths for growth.

The show featured livestreams by partnering with some mainstream and trade media outlets in China. They covered a wider audience base, which had garnered over three million views as of 16 April.

AMR is co-organised by China Automotive Maintenance Equipment Industry Association (CAMEIA), China Automotive Maintenance and Repair Association (CAMRA), Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) Co Ltd and China National Machinery Industry International Co Ltd (Sinomachint). It is one of the some 40 global events under Messe Frankfurt’s Mobility and Logistics sector.

The next edition of AMR will return in the spring of 2027, with details to be announced. See: www.amr-china.cn
