Heavent Paris gathers European trade show industry for three-day expo

Heavent Paris, Europe’s largest events trade show, concluded on 14 November at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. Our correspondent Theo Reilly visited the show to find out who was exhibiting and what the event was really like.

Run by the Weyou Group, Heavent positions itself as an ideal meeting place for event innovators. In 2023, the show attracted over 20,000 participants and housing 490 stands. At this year’s edition, the array of exhibitors ranged from AV companies, stand designers, resorts, drone show specialists, event management companies of every type and – crowd-favourite – an artisanal beer truck that works at events across France. The event ran from 12-14 November.

Organisers managed to pack every corner with installations and gizmos, from giant inflated turtles and blimps to karaoke spots and a live DJ. Heavent Paris 2024 has certainly done its best to warrant the moniker ‘INCONTOURNABLE’ (French for ‘unmissable’).

Heavent Paris also featured a busy conference schedule, with sessions on topics ranging from France’s position in the international MICE market, AI’s application in events and the importance of scenography.
