IBS and KBIS to extend co-location in the US to 2030

The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) have agreed to extend their co-location of the International Builders’ Show (IBS) and the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) for four years through 2030.

The NAHB and NKBA initially agreed to co-locate IBS and KBIS under the banner of Design & Construction Week (DCW) in 2013, and began with the 2014 event held in Las Vegas. The co-located events have become the largest annual gathering of residential construction and design industry professionals in the US.

“Over the past decade, it has been amazing to see the incredible growth and success of Design & Construction Week,” said NAHB CEO Jim Tobin. “We are thrilled to be able to further strengthen the relationship between IBS and KBIS and extend our agreement.”

This year marks the 60th anniversary of KBIS and Bill Darcy, global president & CEO of NKBA|KBIS says: “We’ve had great success collaborating with NAHB and IBS and are proud to announce our continued partnership as part of this milestone year.

“As the kitchen, bath, and wider residential building, architect, design, and remodeling sectors continue to grow it’s more important than ever to provide a central source for inspiration and innovation.”

DCW has seen record-setting numbers of new exhibitors and attendees in recent years and, from 2027 through 2030, the two shows will continue to occupy separate halls within the Las Vegas Convention Center, but one pass will give registrants access to both exhibitions. NKBA and NAHB will continue to produce separate educational programming and special events.

The 2024 DCW at the end of February attracted 2,400 exhibitors and 110,000 industry professionals.

In 2025, DCW will return to the Las Vegas Convention Center, 25-27 February. The 2026 event will move to the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. In 2027 DCW returns to Las Vegas where it will remain until 2030.
