IEG takes full control of FB International in the USA

US exhibition stand designer and fitter FB International has been 100% acquired by Italian Exhibition Group, which, through IEG USA, has exercised a full purchase option. In 2018 IEG took a 51% stake in the US contractor, and has now taken up the option of full control.

New leadership has also been announced, with Tommaso Cancellara taking on the role of president & CEO, while the Board of Directors will be presided over by chairman Carlo Costa (pictured), also CCO of the entire IEG Group.

FB International has been working as an events stand contractor since 1988 throughout the United States and IEG Group first took a stake in it in 2018.

“In 2023,” says Tommaso Cancellara, “FB International was involved in 130 events and its turnover amounted to $27m.”

Overall, FB International, which is headquartered in New Jersey, employs more than 100 staff. The operational hub is located in Las Vegas.

“The locations of its offices,” explains Carlo Costa, “allow FB International to accompany its 400 clients from all over the world at their trade show and event appearances throughout the US.”

In November 2023, FB moved to new headquarters in Fairfield, again in New Jersey, where, in a modern and well-organised 11,000sqm facility, the joinery, carpentry, painting and graphics workshops operate together with the production and assembly of the designed fittings. The headquarters in Las Vegas, Nevada, which serves the entire West Coast, has also been relocated to a new 3,500sqm modern facility.
