ITB America to launch in Guadalajara in November 2026

Organiser Messe Berlin’s ITB global family is expanding, with the announcement of the launch of ITB Americas in Guadalajara in Mexico, 2026.

The travel trade show brand will run over three days, 10-12 November 2026 at Expo Guadalajara, embracing the region from Canada to Patagonia.

The trade show will gather global leaders, innovators, and professionals to explore business opportunities, network, and shape the future of travel. The new show for the Americas, organisers say, aims to connect 35 countries.

Messe Berlin said: “With immense economic potential in the tourism sector, the region is an ideal location for hosting a premier travel trade show like ITB Americas.

“ITB Americas brings the event close to the market, reducing barriers and thriving participation. Hosting the event closer to participants in the Americas also reduces the need for long-haul travel, aligning with sustainability goals and reducing the carbon footprint of attendees.”

In 2025 Latin America has experienced nearly a 10% increase in international travel compared to 2024. While, in the wider region, North America remains a key driver, with the US leading as the largest outbound market, accounting for 120 million international trips in 2024.

Mexico has also reported an impressive 16% growth since 2024 in outbound travel.
