New digital product chief announced at RX

Global events and exhibitions organiser RX has announced that Jamie Harrison, senior vice-president, product development, has been promoted to lead the company’s full digital product estate.

In addition to his current responsibilities leading RX’s global product development, he will also lead digital innovation, customer insights, and commercial product opportunities across the business.

Harrison has played a pivotal role in transforming RX’s core digital product offering, leading on the design and delivery of tools that support the full event lifecycle – from registration and matchmaking to content delivery and analytics – creating seamless digital experiences that enhance the value of in-person events.

Harrison’s expanded remit now includes the broader commercial and strategic direction of RX’s digital ecosystem. This includes supporting existing events, enabling new features, and identifying opportunities to create value beyond the traditional event model.

“I’m excited to be stepping into this next phase of RX’s digital journey,” said Harrison. “Our team has worked hard to deliver best-in-class event products, and now we’re broadening our ambition. From deepening digital engagement with our communities to launching new digital products for entirely new audiences, there’s huge potential to drive the future of RX.”

Brian Brittain, RX’s chief operating officer, commented: “By constantly engaging our customers to define their needs, we create the digital solutions to match. Whether it’s expanding our digital customer communities and enabling entrepreneurial networking year-round, helping our customers break into new markets, or augmenting their onsite experiences – listening to our customers allows us to combine brilliant digital experiences with magical face-to-face events that support them in building their businesses. Jamie’s vision and experience make him the ideal person to lead this work.”
