IBTM World has announced the appointment of a new event director just weeks out from the 2023 edition of its flagship global trade show. Claudia Hall (pictured), who has 14 years’ experience in the meetings and events industry, takes the helm and will assume responsibility for the management and final strategic planning of IBTM World due to return to the Fira de Barcelona, 28-30 November.
Hall said: “I’m thrilled to take the reins at IBTM World and look forward to contributing to the continued success of this esteemed international trade show, which plays a pivotal role in steering the events industry’s future towards greater strength and prosperity.
“I’m excited for the challenge and determined to use my insights and experience to bring innovative ideas to the table and take IBTM World from strength to strength. I can’t wait to meet all our wonderful exhibitors, buyers and delegates, and share in this vibrant, thriving and creative hub of possibilities with them.”
Hall has previously worked as exhibition director for both Gulf Traffic & Transpo Tech and Middle East Energy during her time at international event organiser and digital services business Informa.
