Caitlin Fox is to  become president of mdg, effective 1 July, when Kimberly Hardcastle (pictured) moves from the post into a new role as chief strategist at Freeman, its parent company.

This change marks an important next chapter for the agency. With the recent addition of UK-based Tag Digital signifying a stronger focus on digital transformation, mdg is evolving and the company says Fox will be working closely with Tag Digital CEO Laura Davidson to lead mdg into its next era powered by data, innovation and a commitment to growing event participation.

“It’s an incredible honour to carry forward the legacy of mdg,” said Fox. “With the support of our amazing team and the expanded digital capabilities that come with Tag Digital, I’m confident we’ll help our clients achieve even bigger and bolder results.”

Davidson added: “Joining forces with mdg is a powerful combination. Together, we’re delivering a truly unique offering that blends digital-first thinking with deep industry expertise — and I couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead.”

As for Hardcastle, after 24 incredible years leading mdg, she said she would now be working on big-picture initiatives, advocating for the power of face-to-face and helping events evolve to stay essential.

“mdg is in exceptionally good hands, and I’m looking forward to cheering from the sidelines (and the strategy room),” she said.
