Smart manufacturing and mould-making solutions draw big crowds in Guangzhou

Messe Frankfurt’s concurrent manufacturing exhibitions Guangzhou Industrial Technology and Asiamold Select – in Guangzhou, China –  drew nearly 40,000 professional visitors  at the end of February. The shows brought together the latest advancements in mould-making, 3D printing, smart manufacturing and other advanced production technologies.

Alongside the co-located automation fair, SPS – Smart Production Solutions Guangzhou, the combined platform spread over 31,500sqm.

Organisers say 555 international and domestic exhibitors  attended the events.

Mr Louis Leung, deputy general manager, Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co Ltd said: “The strong visitor turnout and positive feedback from this edition demonstrates the continuing value of our concurrent exhibition format. By presenting technologies ranging from tooling and mould making to automation and intelligent solutions under one roof, this approach enables manufacturers to make more informed investment decisions, helping them address both their current needs and future capabilities.”

Returning for its second edition, Guangzhou Industrial Technology connected buyers with leading manufacturers from across China’s intelligent manufacturing and bearing industries.

At Asiamold Select a fringe programme returned to provide regional manufacturers with insights into the latest trends, technologies and market developments. Highlights included the 3D Printing Technologies in Mould Making Summit, which explored how additive manufacturing is transforming tooling and prototyping for faster and more cost-efficient mould production, and the 6th Smart Moulding Industry Summit, which focused on advancements in intelligent and automated moulding technologies.

“As first-time exhibitors at Asiamold Select – Guangzhou, we introduced two new materials with superior durability, cost-effectiveness, and hardness. Our well-placed booth attracted many high-quality visitors, including prominent customers like Midea, making the exhibition an ideal platform for us to broaden our industry network. We are confident that this exposure will lead to new customer orders,” said Mr Wang Guanghong, deputy general manager, YF Technology Group

Oleg Matosyan, brand manager, Elcore Distribution, added: “I’ve been attending Asiamold Select – Guangzhou for over a decade, representing our electric pole manufacturing business. Each year, participating in this exhibition helps me to learn more about the industry, discover new potential resources, and guides our company’s future planning. Between the expert-led forums and technology showcases – especially this year’s IoT and AI developments – it helps us to evaluate new technologies and understand both their potential and practical limitations, including costs and implementation risks.”

Asiamold Select – Guangzhou is organised by Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co Ltd and Guangdong Die & Mould Industry Association.
