Two international shows make big IMPACT in Thailand

Two of Asia’s largest trade shows – THAIFEX-Anuga Asia 2026 and ProPak Asia 2026 – were hosted in Thailand’s IMPACT venue recently, drawing 175,000 visitors and generating a combined trade value exceeding THB142bn (US$4.25bn).

Paul Kanjanapas, IMPACT CEO, said the two shows were confirmation that Thailand has the world-class infrastructure, talent and ambition to hosted the world’s most demanding international events “and deliver results that speak for themselves”.

IMPACT Muang Thong Thani closed the first half of 2026 as Southeast Asia’s busiest large-scale trade exhibition destination, the CEO noted. THAIFEX-Anuga Asia 2026, which ran 26-30 May, was the largest edition in the food and beverage show’s history, occupying all 12 exhibition halls across 140,000sqm of space and welcoming over 94,000 trade visitors from 148 countries. The show is jointly organised by Thailand’s Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Thai Chamber of Commerce (TCCC) and Germany’s Koelnmesse. Organisers reported 3,590 exhibitors, including 60 country and provincial group pavilions.

Days later, ProPak Asia 2026, organised by Informa Markets, came to town, having relocated from its previous Bangkok site because demand had outgrown its former space, and drew over 80,000 visitors, featuring over 2,500 brands across 13 international pavilions.

“That kind of outcome does not happen by accident. It reflects years of investment in infrastructure, in operational capability, and in the relationships we have built with the world’s leading exhibition organisers,” said Kanjanapas. Both events are confirmed to return to IMPACT in 2027.
