The GES-owned event management platform, Visit has appointed Richard Caelius to the new role of European manager.
Caelius is the former partnership director at AI-powered event platform, Grip. Previously, he spent eight years at app developer Eventbase as the EMEA MD.
The Visit platform provides event registration, check-in and badging solutions, lead capture and data intelligence for over 1,100 exhibitions worldwide. The in-house developed software solutions are cloud-hosted on Amazon Web Services in Ireland, ensuring PCI and GDPR compliance and ISO 27001 certification.
Visit’s global enterprise director Gerard Conway, said: “Richard’s appointment offers us a great opportunity to focus on growth while also building on our existing network. Richard offers huge insight, having worked in the event services sector for many years.
