International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) has released its Annual Performance Review for FY 2025, showcasing a year of growth, innovation and impact, working in partnership with the NSW government and Darling Harbour Live.
Key FY 2025 results for the ICC Sydney include:
- 546 core events, including 136 entertainment events, 17 international events, 88 national events, 61 exhibitions and 244 single day local events
- 1.5m attendees, up from 1.2m in FY 2024
- 3m hotel room nights, up from 1.2m in FY 2024
- A$746m in economic contribution through delegate spend up from $A718m in FY 2024.
Placemaking NSW chief executive, Anita Mitchell said ICC Sydney was a driving force behind the state’s strong visitor economy, with the venue drawing business and talent to Darling Harbour throughout the year.
“ICC Sydney continues to play a pivotal role in advancing New South Wales’ vision for a vibrant, productive and inclusive state. Through its delivery of world class events that champion innovation, sustainability and cultural celebration, the venue exemplifies how strategic investment in infrastructure can generate lasting economic and social impact,” Mitchell said.
ICC Sydney chief executive officer, Adam Mather-Brown said the results reflected ICC Sydney’s commitment to excellence and its alignment with the NSW Visitor Economy Strategy 2035.
“ICC Sydney has ignited the local economy, elevated city vibrancy and advanced social justice through inclusive and impactful experiences. In this way, we are proud to be more than a venue.

ICC Sydney FY 2025 highlights include:
- 98% delegate satisfaction
- 136 live entertainment events hosted, including the record-breaking Les Misérables The Arena Spectacular, the venue’s longest-running show to date
- 13 awards and accolades secured
- 10,499 hours of professional development for its team members provided
- 13 graduates and interns across Audio Visual, Culinary, Event Management and Building Services graduate programmes supported
- Certified Silver EarthCheck
- Achieved Silver status in Pride in Diversity’s Australian Workplace Equality Index
- Powered by 24% renewable energy
- Donated quality surplus food equating to 12,838 meals to people in need
- A$244,562 spend with 27 First Nations suppliers.
