Freemans appoints projects director to drive strategic growth

Freemans Event Partners in the UK has appointed Roger Lowe as projects director, a strategic role focused on driving new ventures, partnerships, and commercial growth across the business.

Lowe brings extensive experience across motorsport, live entertainment, and venue development. He spent eight years as commercial director at Donington Park and played a key role in shaping Melbourne Hall in Derbyshire as a cultural destination, co-developing the ‘Field of Dreams’ concept with Johnny Vegas, transforming the estate into a glamping and live events venue.

Most recently, he worked with RG Live (Sony Music), where he led the development of its food and beverage division, enhancing visitor experience across a portfolio of national events and heritage sites in partnership with Freemans Event Partners.

In his new role, Roger will work closely with the executive chairman and senior leadership team to identify and deliver strategic opportunities beyond the company’s core operations. This includes developing new partnerships, commercial models, and innovative concepts, as well as leading complex projects from concept through to delivery.

Commenting on the appointment, Stephen Freeman, executive chairman of Freemans Event Partners, said: “Roger brings a rare combination of commercial instinct, operational expertise and creativity. As we continue to explore new opportunities and partnerships, he will play a critical role in turning strategic ideas into deliverable, high-quality projects.”
