MBB-Consulting Group has launched the Tradeshow Strategy Compass, a market intelligence platform designed specifically for the exhibition industry.
Users get in-depth dashboards across exhibitions, organisers, and show segments, drilling from a global view down to local level. A built-in AI agent is on hand to answer questions about specific exhibitions.
The platform currently covers Agriculture & Horticulture, Fashion & Clothing, Food & Beverage, Food Packaging, Hospitality & Travel, and Textiles & Textile Processing.
The Compass is designed to support a wide range of strategic questions, including:
- Portfolio strategy and market positioning
- New market and geographic expansion opportunities
- Segment attractiveness and growth potential
- Organiser benchmarking and competitive analysis
- Exhibitor and visitor trend analysis.
Exhibition markets generate an enormous amount of data, but much of it is fragmented across websites, reports, organiser materials, and public sources, MBB Consulting noted. “Comparing markets, understanding segments, benchmarking organisers, or identifying growth opportunities often requires significant manual research. The Tradeshow Strategy Compass aims to make that process easier,” they said.
The platform uses AI to gather, validate, and harmonise large volumes of exhibition market data. MBB’s consultants then apply industry expertise and strategic interpretation to turn that data into meaningful insights.
The result is not a chatbot or a generic AI tool, they emphasise. It is a structured research and intelligence platform built around the specific needs of exhibition organisers, venues, associations, investors, and industry stakeholders.
“This launch marks the beginning of the journey, and we look forward to continuing to develop the platform alongside the exhibition industry,” the consultancy noted.
