Hyve acquires leading European AI, robotics and crypto events

UK-based international events organiser Hyve has acquired RAISE Summit, Machina Summit and Signal Week (formerly Paris Blockchain Week). The acquisitions follow those of LegalTechTalk and Virtuosi League within the last month.

Ahead of the news release, Hyve CEO Mark Shashoua exclusively told EW the deals established a new AI ‘super vertical’ while strengthening its position in fintech through the addition of leading European crypto event alongside Fintech Meetup. The latest acquisition comes soon after Hyve’s launch of Ascend30, the company’s value creation plan through to 2030. “The Go27 transformation was complete and company re-invention done. Now, Ascend30 is more about super verticals and consolidation of best practices. Moving up,” Shashoua explained.

The three events bring together the founders, enterprises, investors and policymakers helping to shape the future of intelligent technologies. Hyve sees the founder-led businesses as a natural fit for the organiser’s portfolio, combining market-leading positions, senior audiences and clear opportunities to enhance the customer experience through meetings, Table Talks and future international expansion.

EW asked Shashoua whether the new Hyve PE ownership was fully behind the Ascend30 strategy begun before they took control in June. “Hellman and Friedman liked what they saw and bought in to the plan which boils down to we are going to do more of what we have proved works exceptionally well,” the CEO explained. “The continuing strategy is looking for key super verticals or going deeper into existing ones,” he added.

RAISE Summit

In 2026, this European AI event attracted 9,000 attendees from 90 countries, alongside 350+ speakers and 200+ sponsors. A third of buyers come from the C-suite of Fortune 1000, CAC 40, FTSE 100, DAX and S&P 500 companies. Previous speakers include Eric Schmidt (Former CEO of Google), Mark Cuban, Pat Gelsinger (former CEO of Intel) and Marcelo Claure (former CEO of SoftBank Group).

Machina Summit

Dedicated to physical AI and robotics, this European event brings together founders, researchers, investors, industrial leaders and policymakers shaping the next generation of intelligent machines. The event explores how AI is moving beyond software into the physical world through humanoid robotics, industrial autonomy and advanced human-machine systems. With a programme spanning technical deep dives, strategic discussions and live demonstrations, Machina extends the RAISE ecosystem into one of the fastest-emerging frontiers of artificial intelligence.

Signal Week (formerly Paris Blockchain Week)

Europe’s flagship blockchain and crypto event’s next edition will take place in July 2027 at the Palais des Congres in Paris, following a 2026 event that welcomed more than 10,000 attendees from over 100 countries. Seventy percent of attendees were C-suite executives, with speakers including Jeremy Allaire (co-founder and CEO, Circle), Changpeng “CZ” Zhao (founder, Binance), Adam Back (co-founder and CEO, Blockstream) and Tim Draper (founder, Draper Associates).

All three of the Hyve acquired events were founded by Michael Amar, Charlie Meraud, Henri Delahaye and Hadrien de Cournon, entrepreneurs who built the brands by creating communities around emerging technologies long before they reached the mainstream. The events now join Hyve’s dedicated Acquisitions and Best Practice division to benefit from bespoke strategic planning and integration support. And Shashoua said the portfolio offered significant opportunities for international expansion through geo-cloning.

“RAISE Summit, Machina Summit and Signal Week are category-defining brands built by exceptional founders who understood where their industries were heading before most others. Michael, Charlie, Henry and Hadrien have created communities with extraordinary reach, influence and momentum, and we’re excited to welcome them to Hyve,” he said.

“AI is entering a new phase of maturity, where innovation is increasingly shaped by collaboration between founders, enterprises, investors and policymakers. That makes this an incredibly exciting space to step into, and we’re looking forward to helping these ecosystems continue to grow and thrive.

“Meanwhile, we’re also excited to strengthen our Fintech portfolio, adding to our existing Fintech Meetup US and Europe events with specialist crypto and blockchain expertise.”

Michael Amar, chairman of RAISE Summit & Paris Blockchain Week, said: “I’ve always believed you need to be in an industry before you organise it. That’s how we built our events: by understanding what these communities needed and creating the place where the people shaping them could come together.

“Joining Hyve marks an exciting new chapter. Their world-class team, proven growth strategy and deep expertise in building market-leading event brands make them the ideal partner to help us strengthen our events, serve our communities even better and realise our long-term ambition.”

Shashoua told EW, “an extra benefit of RAISE is that it benefits other super verticals with AI being everywhere now”. And he added Hyve’s Global Ventures division had a busy year ahead with an ambitious geographic expansion strategy led by Katie Fryatt.
