Olympia Events’ commercial director Anna Golden has left the West London venue with immediate effect.
Golden, who joined the UK venue as event sales director in 2001, had been commercial director for 22 years. She confirmed to EW that it was her decision to leave, she has left on good terms, and she is already available to consider new opportunities.
She said: “It has been such a privilege to have worked with some of the best events people, organisers and colleagues over two decades. The future of Olympia is in safe hands. After 22 extraordinary years, I’m now looking for a new challenge and excited to see what the future brings.”
Olympia Events issued the following statement: “Anna Golden has left her role as commercial director at Olympia Events. She has built a richly deserved reputation as one of the best commercial leaders in the exhibitions industry. She has overseen many phenomenal achievements at Olympia Events, and her legacy in this role extends well beyond the venue. She has often been a key driver of industry progress and helped a vast number of people’s careers flourish due to her expertise, guidance, and support.”
