Auto Aftermarket Guangzhou concludes 2024 with record participation

The three-day automobile event Auto Aftermarket Guangzhou came to a close on 30 August at the Poly World Trade Expo Centre (PWTC Expo) in Guangzhou.

The exhibition showcased new technologies and products across six halls, covering key areas of the aftermarket supply chain. These included parts and components, oil, lubricants and fuel, accessories, customisation and driving services, tyres and wheels and diagnostics and repair. The event had strong attendance from representatives across the automotive industry.

China is by far the world’s leading producer of cars, and Guangzhou is its most productive region.

AAG 2024 welcomed 42,622 visitors from 80 countries and regions (36% increase from the previous edition). The top ten overseas countries in attendance were Malaysia, Vietnam, Yemen, Japan, Saudi Arabia, India, Egypt, Thailand, Iraq and Iran. 1,519 companies exhibited, with 32 professional buyer groups from home and abroad visiting.

30 concurrent events delved into topics such as intelligent connectivity, commercial vehicles, and overseas market expansion. These discussion were centered on improvements in the traditional automotive supply chain as well as developments in the next generation automotive industry.

Auto Aftermarket Guangzhou (AAG) is jointly organised by Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) and China National Machinery Industry International. The next edition of the show is scheduled for 27-29 August 2025.
