EMAX 2026 returns bigger in Penang with five co-located shows

NRG Exhibitions (M) Sdn Bhd ‘s 6th Edition of Electronics Manufacturing Expo Asia (EMAX) and the 5th Edition of Penang Manufacturing Expo (PMAX) is set to give fresh impetus in driving the future of electronics, semiconductor and manufacturing industries.

This year the show, which runs 22–24 July 2026 at the Setia SPICE Convention Centre, Penang, will be co-located with the 2nd Edition of Semiconductor Manufacturing Expo Asia (SMAX), Asia Sustainable Factories Expo (ASFAX), and the newly introduced Circuit Tech Expo Asia (CirTech).

The announcement was made during a press conference in Malaysia hosted by YB. Jagdeep Singh Deo A/L Karpal Singh, deputy chief minister II of Penang, who said it reaffirmed the state’s continued commitment to strengthening its position as a regional hub for high-tech manufacturing, semiconductors, and advanced industries.

With Penang transforming into a global electronics and semiconductor hub through initiatives such as Penang Silicon Design @5km+, EMAX 2026 comes at a pivotal time for the industry.

The five co-located exhibitions will bring together global industry players to showcase the latest advancements shaping the future of electronics, semiconductor manufacturing, automation, and sustainable industrial solutions. The introduction of CirTech 2026, focusing on circuit and PCB technologies, marks a significant expansion of the EMAX series.

Together, the five-in-one event is expected to attract over 8,000 trade visitors, more than 200 exhibiting brands, and participants from 40 countries.

The event will feature a Singapore Pavilion by AUTOMATiONSG and a Tokyo Pavilion by the Tokyo Metropolitan Small and Medium Enterprise Support Center, alongside leading companies from China and South Korea.

“We are excited to see the continued growth of the EMAX series into a more integrated industrial platform,” said Kenny Yong, CEO of NRG Exhibitions (M) Sdn Bhd. “With the addition of CirTech, we are further enhancing the ecosystem by connecting more sectors within the electronics and manufacturing landscape, creating greater value for exhibitors and visitors alike.”
