Fira de Barcelona goes in to the autumn season with an extensive calendar of bookings that includes, until the end of the year, more than 100 events including fairs, congresses and various events at the Montjuïc and Gran Via venues and at the Barcelona International Convention Centre (CCIB). Management reports the healthcare and technology events to be held over the coming months are particularly remarkable.

Trade fair activity will continue to be busy in the last four months of the year, with leading professional, international and medical and technological events taking centre stage. Highlights include CPHI, the world’s leading trade fair for the pharmaceutical industry, in October; Smart City Expo World Congress, the largest global summit on cities and smart urban solutions, in November; Piscina & Wellness Barcelona, an international benchmark in its industry, and IBTM World, the trade show for the business travel and congress industry, in November.
