ExCeL London and Levy UK & Ireland announced a multi-million-pound agreement to strengthen their partnership. Levy has provided food and beverage services at the venue since its opening in 2000.
The partnership introduces ‘The Waterfront Street Kitchen & Bar,’ a new dining experience for ExCeL’s waterfront entertainment district, Immerse LDN. The establishment serves a street food-inspired menu featuring global flavours and caters to venue visitors and residents of London’s Royal Docks. It also offers a bespoke space for organiser meetings, exhibitor parties, and corporate events, enhancing the wider events business.
Levy is expanding its in-venue food and beverage services to ExCeL’s upcoming 25,000sqm expansion. This includes a focus on high-quality, sustainable cuisine, carbon food labelling, menus with at least 50% plant-based options, and 100% recyclable or reusable packaging.
Levy is also enhancing ExCeL’s boulevard by introducing innovations such as the ‘checkout-free’ Market Express store, the first of its kind at UK event venues, and ultra-efficient touchscreen ordering systems in several outlets.
Simon Mills, ExCeL’s chief commercial officer, said: “Food and events go hand-in-hand, and for almost 25 years Levy has helped us deliver exceptional event experiences for our visitors. This strategic partnership reinforces our long-term investment in London’s event industry as ExCeL embarks on an exciting new chapter with the opening of Immerse LDN and our forthcoming expansion.”
Jon Davies, CEO at Levy, added: “We are incredibly proud to contribute to this pivotal phase in ExCeL’s history. This partnership enables us to push innovation in food, technology, and sustainability while delivering outstanding experiences.”
