RX (Reed Exhibitions) has announced it has appointed Sajid Desai (pictured) as general manager for RX India.
Sajid, who joined RX in January of this year, after previously working at Informa, Nuernberg Messe India and DMG Events, will look to build on the RX India business.
Peter Kumposcht, managing director for RX India, said: “I am delighted that Sajid has joined our team and I’m looking forward to working alongside him to continue to grow and build our business in India. Sajid’s rich experience with leading international exhibitions, digital, data and media organisations along with his regional expertise, knowledge and understanding of our business and culture will be crucial to us as we build on the success of our India business.”
Desai said: “I am thrilled to be part of the RX India business and excited to be supporting our team as we enter a new and exciting chapter and build on RX’s strong history in India.”
Kumposcht added: “This role will see Sajid grow our exhibitions and digital capabilities in India to enable even smarter RX events, helping to build our communities and customers’ businesses, and elevating and growing our already fantastic events portfolio in India.”
