Global Exhibitions Day will return on Wednesday, 3 June 2026.
The 11th edition will run under the theme “Exhibitions drive opportunities”. The campaign is facilitated by UFI.
Alongside the 2026 theme, Global Exhibitions Day has also unveiled a refreshed logo. The update marks more than a decade since the initiative launched.
What’s changing in 2026
Global Exhibitions Day is a coordinated industry campaign. It encourages organisers, venues, suppliers and associations to promote the value of exhibitions to governments, media and the wider public.
The 2026 theme focuses on how exhibitions create opportunities across three areas – people, planet and performance.
According to UFI, the messaging is intended to give the industry clearer language when engaging policymakers and decision-makers, particularly at a time when exhibitions are seeking greater recognition and support.
The three campaign pillars
Under the “people” pillar, the campaign highlights skills development, employment and professional connections created through exhibitions.
The “planet” pillar focuses on sustainability. This includes the role exhibitions play in showcasing greener products, sharing solutions and supporting more responsible business practices.
The “performance” pillar centres on commercial outcomes. It points to business growth, market access and face-to-face trade as core benefits of exhibitions.
