Arinex awarded five-year contract to deliver the Melbourne Motor Show

Australia-based conference and event management company, Arinex has been awarded a five-year contract to deliver the Melbourne Motor Show, following the event’s successful return in April from a 15-year hiatus.

The show’s return this year was widely hailed as a success and Craig Phinn, managing director, acknowledged the critical role played by Arinex. “The Melbourne Motor Show’s return was a monumental undertaking, and its incredible success is a direct reflection of Arinex’s exceptional skill, meticulous planning, and profound expertise in event delivery. Their team truly understood our vision and executed it flawlessly, and we have full confidence in their ability to continue to elevate the show for the next five years.”

Arinex Group CEO Maree Di Pasquale, described the five-year deal for the Motor Show as “a significant win that underscores our growing capabilities and a clear sign of the incredible momentum we’ve built across the business events and consumer sectors. This partnership will be a catalyst for our continued expansion and team growth across the region.”

The new contract ensures Arinex will continue to manage all aspects of the Motor Show’s event delivery for the next five years. Phinn and his show organising team had secured international brands to back the return of the show after a 14-year hiatus which led to the Arinex contract. The original Melbourne International Motor Show ran from 1925 through to 2009 and was the longest running auto show in Australia.

Melbourne Motor Show returns 10–12 April 2026 and organisers expect to welcome 80,000 automotive lovers across 30,000sqm of the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC).
