Easyfairs Nordic announces the acquisition of the stand building business at the Stockholm Kistamässan venue from Workman Event. The company described the acquisition as “a strategic move aimed at strengthening Easyfairs Nordic’s presence in the market and expanding its capabilities in providing comprehensive event solutions”.
The newly established company, operating at Kistamässan, will be named Kista Mäss-service.
“This acquisition is a great development both for Easyfairs and Workman Event, which has been running operations as a partner and subcontractor at Kistamässan for many years and with a commitment to quality that aligns with Easyfairs’ values. We are delighted to welcome its stand building team into the company and look forward to continuing to work with them on providing an excellent service in the years to come,” said Henrik Johanssen, CEO of Easyfairs Nordic.
He continued: “Bringing the stand building business fully into Easyfairs’ management enables us to offer a more comprehensive and integrated event experience across the entire value chain, strengthen our market position and reinforce our commitment to delivering top quality services to our clients. It also allows us to focus further on our already significant sustainability commitment by providing a comprehensive end-to-end view of the complete event organisation process within Kistamässan.”
For exhibitors and guests attending events at Kistamässan, which is located between Stockholm and Arlanda and a 12-minute train ride from Stockholm Central and 20 minutes from Arlanda Airport, it will be business as usual, Easyfairs said, with Johanssen adding: “We look forward to the continued collaboration with Workman Event as a strategic partner and supplier, and we are confident that this acquisition will contribute to the overall success and growth of Easyfairs Nordic.”
