Registration opens for 93rd UFI Global Congress in Bahrain

UFI, The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, has announced the opening of registrations for its 93rd UFI Global Congress, due to take place 2-5 November 2026 in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The event is to be hosted by Exhibition World Bahrain and the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA).

The UFI Leadership says it has been monitoring the situation in the Middle East for some time. “Following a thorough review at our executive committee and board meetings earlier this month, and in line with UFI’s purpose to unite our community, we are delighted to launch the Global Congress,” their statement says. “This decision reflects the confidence and resilience of our industry, our members and our hosts.”

The 93rd edition in the Kingdom of Bahrain will offer delegates a unique opportunity to see first-hand the region’s fast-growing exhibition landscape and connect with key players from across the Middle East and beyond.

“We look forward to hosting the UFI Global Congress in Bahrain for the first time and welcoming UFI delegates to the Kingdom. This reflects Bahrain’s continued commitment to the global exhibitions and business events industry, and our focus on delivering an exceptional congress at Exhibition World Bahrain,” comments Sara Ahmed Buhiji, CEO of Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) and chairperson of host venue Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB).

“Each year, the UFI Global Congress brings together the people and ideas that are shaping the future of our industry,” adds Chris Skeith OBE, CEO and managing director of UFI.

“We are excited to welcome the global exhibitions community to the Kingdom of Bahrain for the 93rd edition, where delegates will have the opportunity to network, learn, and be inspired in one of the region’s most dynamic and forward-looking destinations.”

Registration is now open to all UFI members.
